We tailored the piece to fit a particular kitchen in Warsaw’s Saska Kępa. We love all things rounded, so the large niches feature a smooth transition between back wall and ceiling. They are dimensioned to house plants in pots, coffee-making appliances and decorative collectibles. Internal partitions reflect the client’s needs including a ventilated storage space for potatoes. Pale blue contrasts nicely with walnut veneer. Tip-on doors allowed us to maintain grain continuity across multiple panels. The little glazed showcase with mirror interior is a souvenir from the past – keepsake of a much-loved cupboard previously occupying the same spot. Our design came with a superpower: it is move-friendly! In case of apartment change it can be easily dismantled and it splits into three independent pieces. Thus we hope to prolong its service life indefinitely.
