NAWA
Interior design 2018 | We designed a new welcome desk space for NAWA – Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange in Warsaw. A wavy suspended soffit made of special paper let us hide installations and lighting. We introduced a mathematically designed floor pattern with a historic touch – rhombus-shaped tiles were laid in an Ulam spiral highlighting prime numbers. We invited the artist Tymek Jezierski to design a unique science-themed wallpaper for us and he did and this made us very happy. The wall has a metallic underlay so it can also serve as a magnetic pinboard. Polish-made furniture and lamps make the welcome desk into a showcase for design and industry. Custom furniture was built by Aleksander Sieklicki’s team | Team: lead design by Jan Strumiłło with the assistance of Jan Dybowski and Jan Libera | Wallpaper designed by Tymek Jezierski | Photography by Jan Dybowski
